Hi. Interested in gardening in containers? My name is Alejandra and I am your container gardening host! With this website I hope to show you that you can garden in small spaces and achieve amazing results.
I started container gardening in Venezuela. I am an elementary teacher and I work in international schools all over the world. Space is always a problem but I didn’t let that stop me.
I also love the satisfaction that comes from picking my own vegetables or fruits. They are chemical and pesticide free and taste so much better!
I knew there had to be a way that I could garden in a smaller area and still be successful so I did quite a bit of research. I came across a wonderful book that changed my view of gardening and following the simple steps provided I became hooked on small space gardening.
Not only is it manageable and easy, you can also let your imagination go wild as you create and think up of wonderful containers to grow your yummy veggies and fruits in. Imagine eating healthy right from the beautiful and colorful eatable environment you have created!
Every year I have vowed to teach gardening in containers to my students and have been successful now in Venezuela, Indonesia and now hopefully Bahrain too!
Gardening in containers is a great activity for kids (see my son and I in the picture below!), families, elderly and anyone that is interested in eating healthy, lowering their food bills and helping our Earth too.
